Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 4, 2026. Your trust and privacy are paramount to us. Read below to learn how we prioritize a local-first, zero-telemetry approach.
1. Local-First Processing (Your Font Files)
When using the Local Font Inspector feature (drag-and-dropping custom TTF, OTF, or WOFF2 files), all file parsing, metadata extraction, rendering speed analysis, and specimen generations happen **strictly inside your web browser’s memory**.
Your font files are never uploaded, stored, cached, or transferred to any server. When you close the browser tab, the files are completely cleared from your device's memory.
2. Cookie & Tracking Preferences
We use minimal browser cookies to persist your layout settings (e.g., custom preview text, font-size multipliers, view grid choices) so your sandbox experience remains customized upon return.
If you consent to performance metrics in our Ad Privacy Center, anonymous browser performance logs may be parsed to help optimize the layout engine. You can change these preferences at any time.
3. Google Fonts API Integrations
To let you test over 1,500 Google Font specimens, the application fetches the Google Fonts directory structure asynchronously. The fonts are preloaded directly from the Google Fonts CDN network. Google may trace CDN load requests to optimize webfont packet streams. Please consult Google’s official privacy documentation for details on their CDN.
4. Children's Privacy
Since we do not index, request, or hold personal identity credentials, our tool is 100% compliant with children's privacy guidelines (COPPA). We do not collect any personal data whatsoever.
5. Future Policy Changes
If our sandbox expands to include cloud-synchronized developer collections or remote team collaboration workspaces, this policy will be expanded to outline database security models. We will proactively notify users upon implementation.
